We were in Hanoi on September 2nd and it was such a special time to visit. The Old Quarter was really busy, but in a good way. There were Vietnamese flags everywhere and so many people out enjoying the holiday. We spent the day walking around the Old Quarter, trying local food and just taking in the atmosphere. It felt very different from a normal day in Hanoi and was definitely one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We’re really glad we chose to visit Hanoi during the National Day holiday. It was crowded, but the atmosphere made it totally worth it.

Hanoi was full of little food discoveries for us. We tried many local dishes, but one of the more unusual things was cốm — a traditional young green rice snack. We had never tried anything quite like it before, so it was a fun experience and something we will remember from our time in Hanoi.

This was a great trip for anyone who wants to explore rather than just relax.

We experienced the busy streets of Hanoi, the mountains and local culture of Sapa, and the peaceful scenery of Halong Bay . Every destination felt different, so the trip never became repetitive. We came home with lots of memories and a much better impression of northern Vietnam.

This tour gave me enough time to enjoy each destination at a comfortable pace. Hanoi was a great place to discover local food and famous attractions before heading to the cooler climate of Sapa. Fansipan offered amazing panoramic views, while Cat Cat Village and Moana Sapa were both enjoyable stops with beautiful scenery. The Halong Bay day cruise on Diamond Era was a relaxing way to end the trip, with stunning limestone islands and a delicious lunch on board. Everything was well arranged, and the balance between sightseeing and free time made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
