Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Cat Ba Town ⌄

🚐 Transferring (Hanoi – Cat Ba) 🏨 Hotel in Cat Ba

07:30 or 10:30: Our driver will pick you up at 122 Tran Nhat Duat. You will travel to Cat Ba Island by car and ferry. During the journey, you can enjoy the scenery and have a comfortable transfer to the island.
11:00 or 14:00: Arrive in Cat Ba and we will transfer you to your hotel. Lunch is at your own expense, so you can choose a local restaurant or seafood place in town depending on your preference.
14:00: Check-in at the hotel (early check-in is subject to availability). After checking in, you will have the rest of the day free to relax and explore Cat Ba Island at your own pace. You can walk around the town, visit nearby beaches, enjoy a coffee with a sea view, or simply rest after the transfer.

Day 2: Explore Viet Hai Village - Sunset on the Lan Ha Bay ⌄

12h30 – 13h00: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the center of Cat Ba town, then take you to Beo wharf.
At Cai Beo port, visitors check-in the ship, start the journey to visit the bay and watch the sunset.
13h00 – 13h30: Visit Cai Beo floating fishing village. Coming to Cai Beo floating fishing village, you have the opportunity to admire the most complete picture of the life and people of a “village on the sea”.
13h45 – 14h45: Explore Viet Hai Village. You can take a nap on the deck of the boat and enjoy sunbathing and taking photos while we travel to VIET HAI VILLAGE. At Viet Hai harbor: We will go cycle across rice fields to Viet Hai village. Stroll around the village to meet some friendly fishermen and learn about their life and culture there. You can experience the feeling of being massaged by many fish.
14h45 – 16h00: Visit Turtle Island (swimming in the sea) – Kayaking. Here you can go kayaking on the sea or simply swim and immerse yourself in the clear blue water.
16h15 – 16h45: Sunset Party on the way back to Cai Beo Port (juice, fresh fruit & snacks).
After finishing the journey, the car and tour guide will take you back to the hotel!

Day 3: Cat Ba National Park Trekking - Half Day Tour - Departure ⌄

🚐 Transferring (Cat Ba – Hanoi) 🧑‍🦱 Local guide (does not speak English) 🍽️ Meal: Breakfast

After breakfast, you will check out and leave your luggage at the hotel.
08:00: Our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba town center.
08:30: Arrive at Cat Ba National Park. Start the trek and climb to Ngu Lam Peak (225m) for a panoramic view of the forest and island landscape.
10:00: Visit Trung Trang Cave – one of the most impressive natural caves in Cat Ba, featuring stalactites, cool air, and a mysterious atmosphere.
10:45: Explore Quan Y Cave (Military Hospital Cave) – a unique historical site hidden inside the mountain, once used as a secret hospital during the war.
11:45: Transfer back to your hotel. End of the half-day tour. Lunch is at your own expense.
12:30 or 15:30: Transfer back to Hanoi.
