DAY 1: HOA LU - TAM COC - HANG MUA

  • 07:30 - 8:00: Pick up from hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, drive through peaceful countryside to Ninh Binh (around 2 hours).
  • 10:15: Visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty.
  • Here, we go cycling around the village for sightseeing & discovering the life of the local people.
  • 12:00: 12:00: Enjoy a Vietnamese buffet lunch at a local restaurant with specialties such as goat meat, crispy rice (com chay), fish, chicken, fried rice & vegetable salad... Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch.
  • 13:30: Visit Tam Coc by 1.5-hour bamboo boat. You will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy fields, river, water, cloud, sky and a stunning cave system during the boat trip.
  • All make a masterpiece that Vietnamese people called “Ha Long Bay on land”.
  • 15:30: Mua Cave (Dragon Peak). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.
  • 17:00: Check in Bungalow/Hotel then free time to relax (can use swimming pool in summer time).
  • 19:30: Have dinner at hotel.
  • Overnight in Ninh Binh.

OPTION 1: BAI DINH - TRANG AN

Morning:
Have breakfast at hotel then check out and be ready for the trip.

  • 09:30: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda - the most famous & biggest Pagoda in Southeast Asia with many records set such as 500 Stone - Arhat Statues, 36 ton-bronze Bell, 100 ton-Budha Statue...

Midday:

  • Enjoy a Vietnamese buffet lunch at a local restaurant with specialties such as goat meat, crispy rice (com chay), fish, chicken, fried rice & vegetable salad... Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch.

Afternoon:

  • 13:30: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as A World Heritage Site in 2014. TrangAn has a wonderful tunnel cave system that no place like it. With 2 hours-boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.
  • 16h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.
  • 18:30: Drop off at hotel. End of tour.

OPTION 2: BICH DONG PAGODA - THAI VI TEMPLE – THUNG NHAM BIRD VALLEY

Morning:
Have breakfast at hotel then check out and be ready for the trip.

  • 09:00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then cycle to visit the Thai Vi temple and Bich Dong pagoda.

Midday:

  • 11:30: Enjoy a Vietnamese buffet lunch at a local restaurant with specialties such as goat meat, crispy rice (com chay), fish, chicken, fried rice & vegetable salad... Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch.

Afternoon:

  • 14h00: Continue to Thung Nham Bird Valley. Get on a small sampan to discover Hang But (Buddhist Cave), about 500m in length, a magical view of the stalactites and stalagmites, and see a big Buddha-shaped stalactite sitting beside an underground river, as well as visit an orchard of tropical fruits in this area.
  • The best time for the bird park in the afternoon, sit quietly on a boat and slowly paddle through Thung Chim (Thung Nham), discover the most features of this area with more than 4,000 birds of 40 species flying to inhabit every day.
  • Your best chance to take nice photos and immerse yourself in the wild and nature.
  • 16h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.
  • 18:30: Drop off at hotel. End of tour.

OPTION 3: CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK

  • Cuc Phuong National Park belongs to NhoQuan District, NinhBinh province, which is bounded by three provinces of NinhBinh, HoaBinh, and, ThanhHoa province. It is far about 100 kilometers from Hanoi to the southwest.
  • Cuc Phuong national park is the first national park in Vietnam, established in July 1962. Cuc Phuong National Park has a population of abundant flora and fauna.

Morning:

  • Have breakfast and be ready for Cuc Phuong National Park.
  • 10:30: We will firstly visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre - a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, and to the protection of their habitats.

Midday:

  • 12:00: Have lunch in the restaurant with the local foods.
  • Continue taking a short trek into the National Park for sightseeing and learn more about the fauna and flora in this oldest forest of Vietnam.
  • Back to the Park Centre visit the “Cave of Early Man”.
  • 16h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi.
  • 18:30: Drop off at hotel. End of tour.
